As we near the Summer Solstice, the High Country is ablaze with vibrant colors and cheerful visitors. It’s an eventful summer here in the mountains. Here are our favorite High Country events happening in June!
June 16 (Daytime) – Sharpen your furry photographing skills at Apple Hill Farm’s “Farm Photography Tour”
OR sit back and explore the many farms of Watauga County on the High Country Farm Bus Tour with Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture.
June 16 (Evening) – Head up to Beech Mountain Ski Resort to enjoy The Wood Brothers outdoor concert at the base of the ski slopes(rain or shine).
June 23 – Enjoy the empowering tunes and good vibes at Sirens on the Mountain Music Festival, featuring Melissa Reaves, Stevie, Tea Cup Gin, and more!
June 24 – Relax with a glass of Blueberry Wine at the scenic Linville Falls Winery while listening to the incredible Shelby Rae Moore Band.
June 28 – Catch a movie in the park: a new favorite, “Black Panther”, will be screened in Memorial Park in Blowing Rock around dusk (8:30ish pm). Bring a blanket and some snacks to enjoy this FREE outdoor film screening!
